The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Facility

The Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior is equipped with state-of-the-art neuroimaging and neuromodulation technologies. Our advanced research facilities include a Siemens 3 Tesla Cima.X MRI system, which significantly reduces scan time while improving image quality. CB3 also has EEG, ERP, eye-tracking and Biopac EMG and EDA physiologic monitoring equipment, as well as non-invasive brain stimulation technologies, (e.g., high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation). This integrated approach allows researchers to both observe and influence brain activity, providing unparalleled insights into the neural basis of behavior and cognition.
